Brisbane Australia is famous for its wood “Queenslanders”, the make up their cottages and homes ideally set high on stubs to grasp the breeze, faceting spacious verandas to shut out the midday sun. Some places in the outer edge have used Queenslanders for trendy cafes, antique shops, and restaurants. The city center features congenial sand stone buildings constructed beside contemporary glass towers. One can take pleasure in the city’s botanic gardens, or chill out in one of the pub beer gardens, or bike along the riverfront trails, or get a different point of view out on the river aboard a CityCat ferry. Catch a glimpse of the bridges that cross the river, the most popular and eye-catching being the Story Bridge, found on the river’s Town Reach.
